Wrapping up the 2025 wedding season feels incredibly rewarding. As an Oregon wedding videographer and wedding filmmaker, this year challenged and inspired me in all the best ways. I’m deeply grateful to the couples who trusted me with their stories, the talented vendors who collaborated so seamlessly, and the friends and family who supported Oregon Wedding Co. throughout another unforgettable season.

Wedding film videography is about more than documenting a day. A great wedding video should feel immersive, emotional, and timeless. In 2025, my focus stayed on creating cinematic wedding films that let couples relive their ceremony, their vows, and the moments they didn’t even realize were unfolding.

The Pacific Northwest is, quite simply, the best place for weddings and these cinematic wedding films feature it all – from mountains to forest to fields.

It’s impossible to choose favorites, but these three wedding videos I filmed from 2025 stood out for their emotion, storytelling, and overall impact.

Cat & Taylor - Black Butte Ranch, Sisters, Oregon

I knew Cat and Taylor’s wedding was going to be fantastic the moment I saw their playlist. The mix of fun, romance, and pure heart is so them! And that’s the exact energy they brought to their entire wedding day at Black Butte Ranch in Sisters, Oregon.

Their wedding day had everything: deer wandering around the grounds, mountains in the distant, and a sunset so vibrant that you almost cannot describe it. It was the perfect backdrop for a story like theirs.

Cat and Taylor shared their first look with Mt. Jefferson towering behind them while each cracked open their favorite beer. It was fun, authentic, and completely them. Their dogs, Marlowe and Cooper, were part of the story all day long. Taylor even walked with them down the aisle, making it one of the most memorable moments of the ceremony.

The celebration continued with heartfelt speeches from Cat’s dad and Taylor’s best man, each sharing stories that had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure. Surrounded by family, friends, and stunning Central Oregon scenery, Cat and Taylor created a wedding day that was true, emotional, and unforgettable.

“We are obsessed with the films!! Everything we’d hoped for and so much more.
You were such an awesome addition to the day and we loved having you there!”
– Cat L.

Sandia & Reuben - Noble Ridge Tree Deck, Washougal, WA

Sandia and Reuben’s wedding was a breathtaking blend of love, tradition, and personal touches. Set against the lush backdrop of the Noble Ridge Tree Deck in Washougal, WA, their ceremony was filled with beauty, joy, and unforgettable moments.

Their day included the exchange of garlands and many meaningful traditions that honored their heritage and deepened the sense of connection between them and their families. Before the ceremony, Sandia and Reuben shared a heartfelt first look, a moment made even more special with their names inscribed in one another’s henna designs, a detail as unique as their love story.

Every detail of their celebration was thoughtful and personal: their beloved dogs trotting down the aisle as ring bearers, a custom crossword puzzle, playful lego creations, and even a vintage-style phone where guests could leave messages for the newlyweds. These elements made the day not only a wedding, but a celebration of who they are together.

“Rich’s use of the drone was a spectacular addition. The aerial shots he captured were breathtaking
and added a cinematic quality to our video that we’ll cherish forever. It was amazing to see our
venue and ceremony from such a unique perspective.

He was so professional and adaptable on the day, always in the right place at the right time
without being intrusive. The final highlight reel he created was nothing short of a masterpiece.
He didn’t just film our wedding. He wove together the emotions, the laughter, and the love
into a truly stunning film. We can’t thank Rich enough.”

Rachael & Mathew - Rainshadow Organics, Sisters, OR

Rachael & Mathew’s wedding day was an incredible celebration set against the fields and mountain views of Rainshadow Organics in Sisters, Oregon. From beginning to end, their wedding captured the joy and wild beauty that defined their day.

Surrounded by loved ones, their day felt like something out of a dream complete with handwritten vows, tears, and laughter.

Getting to capture this day for you two was something I’ll never forget. From the moment I arrived, it felt like I wasn’t just there as your videographer, but as someone lucky enough to witness the beginning of your next chapter up close. I’m so happy for you both. The way you look at each other… it’s real, and it’s rare.

“We highly recommend choosing Rich as your videographer! I was on the fence about adding videography to our wedding budget, but I’m so glad we did…If you’re considering a videographer, stop thinking about it and book Rich—you won’t regret it!”
– Rachael C.

I’m excited to continue working with couples across the PNW to create films that are rooted in storytelling, connection, and authenticity. From full wedding days to intimate elopements, the goal remains the same: to capture each celebration in a way that feels honest and meaningful.

Oregon Wedding Co. will continue offering thoughtfully designed packages to fit a wide range of celebrations. No matter the size of the day, every couple deserves a wedding video that feels intentional, cinematic, and timeless.
